Drift happens when your brand visibility changes unexpectedly — a competitor takes over a prompt you used to own, an AI platform stops citing your site, or the narrative framing shifts against you. Ghostd detects these changes automatically.

Recovery plans

When Ghostd detects a drift event, it auto-generates a 3-step recovery plan specific to the event type. Each plan includes a diagnosis, a content or outreach action, and a verification step to confirm recovery.

Drift events are deduplicated using SHA-256 fingerprinting — you will not see duplicate alerts for the same underlying change. Events auto-resolve when the underlying signal reverts.
